We are planning to insulate our premises and install energy efficient lighting which will allow us to utilise parts of our building that currently unused. We will be insulating our ceilings and installing energy efficient lighting. We want to provide a warm and comfortably lit venue for our volunteers, guests and visitors while being concious of the increasing costs of energy. We are also concerned about the potential energy shortages facing us all this winter. We are very keen to do all that we can to reduce our energy consumption and help to avoid potential power cuts. We are also very aware of the global impact of wasted energy and are very keen to reduce our carbon footprint.

Solar Powered Robot Lawnmowers

We want to introduce solar-powered robotic mowers as a quiet and clean way to tend our lawns. Our heavy diesel-powered ride-on mower is noisy, time consuming, and costly to run; it causes environmental problems such as soil compaction, tree root damage, and carbon emissions. Solar-powered robotic mowers will solve those problems and improve the lawn health by returning the clippings to the soil, removing the need for fertiliser.
